East Surrey College

Berkeley have been awarded a contract in excess of £400K to provide a comprehensive building management system based on Trend IQ3 which will integrate with the college IT Network. The contract was awarded by MJN following the successful completion of Eden House in London which was completed in 2008 by Palcon Services a subsidiary of Berkeley Controls PLC.

The redevelopment will provide a new 16,000 m² college facility that will include outstanding resources in a wide range of vocational areas including motor vehicle and engineering, construction, hair and beauty therapy, business administration and ICT, travel and tourism, health and social care, child care and public services.  As well incorporating the first class facilities of the Reigate School of Art, Design and Media, it will also house a sports hall and a two storey learning resource centre.

The main contractor is Wates Constuction and the project forms part of the exiting redevelopment of East Surrey College’s Gatton Point North campus.
